I am Iqbal Burcha, a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Leader with 16+ years of progressive experience in multinational FMCG, Food & Beverage manufacturing, consulting, and higher education. I specialize in building high-performance Quality Management Systems, driving operational excellence, strengthening food safety culture, and leading quality transformation initiatives that create measurable business value.

Throughout my career, I have successfully led quality functions and improvement initiatives with organizations including Unilever Pakistan, Hilal Foods, NovelOPS, SimulationsX, and Develop N Grow. My experience spans Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety Management Systems, regulatory compliance, supplier quality management, manufacturing excellence, auditing, and continuous improvement across complex business environments.

I have extensive experience implementing and improving international standards including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, GHP, Total Quality Management (TQM), World Class Manufacturing (WCM), and Lean Quality practices.

I am a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and FSSC 22000 Food Safety Management Systems, with proven expertise in developing quality strategies, managing audits, reducing operational risks, improving processes, implementing CAPA systems, enhancing supplier performance, and building capable quality teams.

My leadership approach focuses on aligning quality objectives with business strategy, customer expectations, and operational performance. I believe that a successful Quality function is not only responsible for compliance but also serves as a strategic partner in improving productivity, reducing costs, protecting brand reputation, and achieving sustainable growth.
